Mermaids love the moon

Mermaid's love the moon! It does control the tides and the ocean after all! - And tonight is a New Moon. Time for new beginnings and fresh starts. Also time to check your moon sign! The moon sign represents ones' feminine side (the sun sign is the masculine side). I'm a Leo Moon and here's what that means for me: LEO MOONS are proud and charming people who always seem to be happy. They radiate power and natural warmth. They are generous and cordial. In turn they like to be recognized and admired and know very well how to put themselves in a scene. They don't appreciate criticism, since it would hurt their pride, which sometimes comes close to arrogance. Above all, female Leo Moons have powerful creative capabilities, which they should channel into the arts. Leo Moons can be very dominant, but they posses a loving heart. Their life is dominated by loving and being loved. Once they have made friends with somebody, they become very faithful friends and partners. But, even though they enjoy flirting themselves, they don't accepts it in their partners.

Courtney McNeil began studying painting and illustration in 1985 in London, England. Not one to stay in one place very long she continued perfecting her love of the arts while traveling the world studying painting and illustration in Europe, Hawaii, California, and Australia and eventually graduated cum laude with a BA in illustration and continued on to do her graduate work at the Royal College of Art in London, England.  A few years later she added to her creative interests and studied letterpress and bookmaking at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. After receiving her undergraduate degree she began work at the Getty Museum in Malibu for almost a decade which allowed her to study and work among some of the most famous classic works of art in the world from Vincent Van Gogh to Manet. Teaching in the galleries of the Getty started her career in Art Education. She has been teaching painting and drawing to young artists and adults at the Davis Arts Center since 2006.
